Good Karma Brands

project scope

Outer Banks Media has had a longstanding relationship with sports marketing, event and home decor company Good Karma Brands. After working with OBX Media to complete a rebranding effort and brand new website in 2014, Good Karma had gone through a number of changes to their products and services, and it was time for Outer Banks Media to step in and give the website a complete refresh. Not only did the site receive an updated, modern design, the entire site navigation and page structure was reworked to provide a more streamlined user experience. With a number of new and evolving divisions, it was important for Good Karma to be able to simply and effectively present their company and its offerings to new and existing partners.

We’ve worked with Brooke and Outer Banks Media on several website design and rebranding initiatives. I still laugh when I think about how I sent her mock-ups for our very first site – what she created was far and away better than my vision, and she noticed the little things – our core values, for example, to include in the overall design. She is thoughtful and somehow understands our business with its multitude of brands to the point where for our most recent rebrand/redesign, I gave her very little direction (sorry Brooke!) but she of course nailed it on her first mock-up. I truly feel like at this point Outer Banks Media is an extension of our team – whether it’s for websites, logos – and all the big and small projects that we don’t have the capacity to handle in-house.
