Outer Banks Media was approached by Scarborough Faire, a unique shopping center located in Duck, NC, to help refresh the look of their brand and website. The original logo had been around since the shopping center opened in the 1980’s, so it was important to take the long-standing brand image into account when working on the redesign. Outer Banks Media kept a consistent color palette to the original logo and kept a duck icon, although the overall feel of both the duck and the logo itself were given a more modern design. When they turned to revamping the website, the Outer Banks Media team incorporated a responsive, interactive shopping center map with a custom design; an event calendar showcasing their weekly event schedule; and a content-rich store directory featuring images, hours, and information for each of the individual Scarborough Faire businesses.
