Many of the Outer Banks Taste of the Beach 2015 events are happening at the Outer Banks Brewing Station, the wind powered pub and restaurant on the beach. The Outer Banks Brewing Station was established in 2001, and was the first wind-powered brewery in the U.S., creating award-winning craft beers in its brewery and culinary delights in its restaurant.
Outer Banks Media (OBX Media), a North Carolina-based digital marketing agency specializing in website design, internet marketing and traditional advertising, announces a series of events hosted by their client, Outer Banks Brewing Station, at the upcoming Taste of the Beach festival running March 19 – March 22. The following Taste of the Beach events will feature various chef specialties and environmentally-friendly brewed beers:
Outer Banks Craft Beer & Distilling Tour – March 20 @ 11:00 am – 2:00 pm
Board the OBX Trolley headed to downtown Manteo for a behind the scenes tour of the OBX’s first distillery, then hop the trolley to the Full Moon Café & Brewery. Then trolley to the multiple award-winning Outer Banks Brewing Station where you will enjoy a tour, beer samples, pretzels and brats…and a mixed cocktail featuring Kill Devil Rum compliments of Scott Smith.
“We love being able to support OBX Brewing and their dedication to this event. They create an unforgettable, unique experience for their guests that really express the dedication to their craft.”
Micro-Micro Beer Fest – March 21 @ 2:00 pm – 4:00 pm
This year OB Brewing’s brewers have added an extra treat – Cask Ales! Take your sample glass to any of four taps and three casks of real ale working for the tasters. A selection of complementary appetizers will also be served.
Easy Livin’ Champagne & Crepes Brunch – March 22 @ 11:00 am – 3:00 pm
This brunch is a great way to ease into a Sunday morning. The Chefs at the Outer Banks Brewing Station are whipping up several different crepes and champagne drinks to go with them, so pick one of each and start livin’ like the King & Queen you know you were meant to be.
“These tours are very popular and sell out quickly, so we suggest purchasing tickets for these events early.” said C.K. Evans, president Outer Banks Media. For more information, visit the Outer Banks Brewing Station website.
