Slash Creek Outfitters
When the owners of Hatteras Island’s Slash Creek Outfitters came to us to design their new brand from the ground up, they knew they wanted to bring something new and fresh to Hatteras Village. Something classic and coastal, but also a bit nostalgic and with that personal, family-oriented, and hospitable approach.
We started off the project by doing our normal thing, picking out colors and retro fonts for the logo and nailing down rentable products with the client, but something was missing. We needed something that really shows how Slash Creek Outfitters goes the extra mile to make sure their customers are satisfied.
And that’s when we remember their shop dog, June! We quickly incorporated the Yellow Lab into our logo files and added her image across the site. Now when customers browse the rental gear site they can rest assured they’ll have a loyal partner on their side with Slash Creek.
