For over 30 years, Scarborough Faire Shopping Center has been part of the Duck Village landscape featuring some of Duck’s most notable fine dining, local boutiques and shops.

Located in the quaint town of Duck on the Outer Banks of North Carolina, Scarborough Faire is a charming shopping village with 6 cottage style buildings that host 15 storefronts. The stores range from eateries to boutiques and are filled with locally handcrafted items, specialty gifts, clothing and home décor.
Scarborough Faire turned to OBX Media to help them modernize their original branding and website. OBX Media’s brand management team began by updating their original logo. The pink and blue color scheme remained the same, but the old logo was replaced with modern fonts and updated duck graphics. OBX Media’s web developers and graphic designers then worked on creating a website that matched Scarborough Faire’s new branding and allowed users to easily locate the store’s directory and upcoming events. The new site features the same color scheme as the logo and features blue boardwalk backgrounds that tie into the cottage theme.
A store directory page was also added with an interactive map that links to each individual store page. The updated news and events page allows vacationers to learn more about their upcoming events and new information about the shopping village. The navigation on the website also makes it easy for users to find the store information they’re looking from the home page and navigation bar.
The final result was a clean and seamless website with user-friendly features and a modern and attractive layout. The WordPress theme that was used was a convenient way for Scarborough Faire to update their event and news page on their own.
